Government should be ashamed over army accomodation

Commenting on today's [Friday] National Audit Office report which finds that army families could remain in sub-standard living quarters for decades, Liberal Democrat Shadow Defence Secretary, Nick Harvey MP said:

"Offering a decent standard of living for soldiers and their families is the very least we should expect from the Ministry of Defence.

"The Government should be ashamed of the way the bravery of our soldiers is consistently rewarded with ministerial incompetence."
