NICK HARVEY ENDORSES END 2 END AND BACK CHARITY RIDE

Members of the Phoenix Bike Club plan to ride from Lands End to John 0'Groats and back to Lands End between 30 June to 8 July to raise £30k for the North Devon Hospice, Riders for Health and Cancer Research UK. The money is to be split evenly amongst the three charities.
'End2End And Back 07 is a highly laudable enterprise,' says Nick Harvey, 'and I wish the Phoenix Bike Club team every success. This is no small challenge they are taking upon themselves to support three very worth while local charities.'
Before the charity motorcycle run the public and potential sponsors will get to meet the riders and see the bikes on 19 and 20 May at Atlantic Village.
'I am extremely pleased how North Devon has already rallied around this event,' adds Nick Harvey, 'for example the teams' running costs are covered by sponsors, and any moneys that are left over will go back into the charity pot. I for one will be there to see them off on 30 June at the North Devon Hospice.'
In addition the North Devon Motors Group has kindly supplied a support vehicle and Lantern FM is sending one of their DJs to cover this marathon bike run live. The team will be gathering at the North Devon Hospice on 30 June AT 9.30 am for a 10.30 am depart.
