NICK SUPPORTS ON-PACK RECYCLING LABELS

Shortbread biscuit boxesNick is adding his voice to an MP lobby supporting the British Retail Consortium's On-Pack Recycling label.

This is designed to help consumers recycling more packaging rather than simply throwing it away - this in turn will help local recycling rates. The aim is to have at least 60 major retailers and suppliers join the scheme by 2009.
