NO SMOKING DAY 2010 IN NORTH DEVON

Discarded cigaretteOn 10 March 2010 community centres, hospitals, military bases, schools and college, shopping centres and local businesses will all be hosting No Smoking Day events in partnership with local NHS Stop Smoking Services.

Despite recent legislation, smoking remains the number one cause of avoidable premature death in the UK. Yet polls consistently show most smokers would like to quit; last year, across the UK almost one million people quite smoking on No Smoking Day 2009 - one in ten of all smokers.
