Bryn Parry, CEO & Co-Founder of Help for Heroes says, "Thank you so much for your words of support, the last two and a half years have taught me a great deal and I will do all in my power to get our Veterans all the help they so richly deserve.
"When we launched it was as a result of my wife Emma and I being profoundly moved following a visit to see injured Servicemen at Selly Oak hospital. The charity was set up with wide objects but our Trustees felt that as there as so many charities providing support for those injured before 2001, we would concentrate on those injured subsequently as there appeared to be gap.
"Currently we have raised over £41m and it is all allocated to provide direct, practical support for the wounded with the provision of facilities and services."
Nick adds "Help for Heroes has achieved so much in such a short time and is a prime example of positive direct action. The money and just as importantly the publicity generated by the charity have ensured that our wounded receive the best possible treatment and that their personal sacrifices are honoured by the country."
