Ilfracombe FerryNick Harvey MP says: "Clearly the constant delays in launching the Ilfracombe-Swansea ferry are disappointing, particularly for all those working so hard to get the service in place. This latest delay is an unwelcome setback, but only a setback nonetheless; though I agree that missing this summer season is a blow.

"However, what is very encouraging is the possibility of expanding the services to include other ports - the greater the coverage of the service the greater the economic impact on Ilfracombe and North Devon as a whole. Hopefully rolling this all out in one go in a year's time will be worth the wait."
