North Devon Hospice provide specialist end of life care to people facing the impact of a life limiting illness and support for their families and friends. They are there for all the family and their care is provided free from any charges.
They are applying to Energyshare to donate the cost of buying and installing PV Panels. Solar panels will reduce the cost of our annual energy bills which could be better spent on patient care.
Being able to generate their own energy on-site would help them reduce their energy bills and enable them to redirect funds into our patient care and services.
However, procuring solar panels is expensive and the hospice cannot use charitable funds that are to be used for providing care and support. As a result, grant funding to cover the cost of the solar panels and their installation is their only way forward.
North Devon Hospice has got through to the final stages of the Energyshare competition to be allocated funding to invest in their PV scheme - they are currently in the lead, but need your votes to ensure that they are successful.
