Constituency map

Interrupted pictures, Welsh news and patchy signal are just some of the problems that people are experiencing in Ilfracombe, and local MP, Nick Harvey is to raise the issues with the Minister, Ed Vaizey, and Ofcom at a meeting in London.

In order to get a better idea of the range of problems, Mr Harvey has launched a survey on his website. Residents are urged to get in contact so that he can present a full picture at the meeting.

The survey can be accessed through this website at www.nickharveymp.com/ilfracombetv

"This problem is extremely frustrating for local residents and whilst it is unlikely that an immediate solution can be found, I want to make sure that officials understand local feeling." said Mr Harvey.

"Changes to the frequencies in Ilfracombe should take place next year, which may rectify the problem - in the meantime, I want to make sure that the authorities and the government are aware of the problems that residents are facing and have investigated every avenue to get it resolved. In order to get a picture of how widespread these issues are I would urge people to complete my survey online, or alternatively get in contact with my office."

If you are a resident of the North Devon constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
